Yurt Package
Combine an outdoor adventure to the beautiful Pelorus Sound with catching up with friends or family. Take ‘The Mailboat or Water Taxi’ to On the Track Lodge and be greeted on arrival with coffee and cake, enjoy two nights exploring Nydia Bay and staying in your exceptionally comfortable yurt (private group shared accommodation), return to Havelock on ‘The Mailboat or Water Taxi’.
All-inclusive package from $410 per person (5 person Yurt share)
- Water transfers from Havelock
- Coffee and cake on arrival at On the Track Lodge
- 2 nights in comfortable yurt accommodation (shared bathroom)
- Meals (Day 1 packed lunch, dinner & dessert, Day 2 breakfast, packed lunch, dinner & dessert, Day 3 breakfast), use of On the Track Lodge kayaks and all other amenities, including a hot-tub.
departures on demand – bookings essential. Depart Havelock at 9.30 am, arrive at Nydia Bay at 10.10 am, return via Havelock at noon. If departing on Monday or Wednesday please contact us to discuss alternative water transport options and timings.
Please note, as the jetty is an easy 15 minute (quite lovely) walk to/from the Lodge front door, guests need to carry their own luggage and make their way there by foot. The path is unsealed with some tree roots and can be damp if there’s been rain. When you get off the boat, take a left turn along the Nydia Track and follow the track to the Lodge.
As ‘The Mailboat and Water Taxi’s’ arrives mid morning, your rooms may not be ready for you straight away on arrival. You are welcome to explore the area, sunbath, borrow the kayaks or just relax in the sun until your freshly prepared room is ready.
